When I was a kid growing up premium fresh squeezed orange juice was considered a luxury along with items like Land O'Lakes deli cheese and bags of freshly ground coffee. In those days most working people were on a pretty strict food budget and purchased products like these only for very special occasions. Back then most families bought the 12 oz cans of frozen orange juice concentrate and mixed their own. This juice was OK because we knew nothing else but it sure does pale to the real thing!

When I finally left home and became a bit more prosperous I switched to Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice. Now that was more like it! Having partaken of the inferior product all of my life I really appreciated the taste of freshly squeezed OJ. Then about 10 years ago a new brand hit the market called Florida's Natural. As I recall I clipped a coupon and gave it a try. I have been hooked on this stuff ever since. What makes Florida's Natural Orange Juice so superior to Tropicana is that the folks at Florida's Natural use only oranges grown in the co-op that they own in Florida. There are no carpetbagging oranges in this product! If you take a peek at the ingredients on a carton of Tropicana Orange Juice you will discover that this product contains juice from oranges grown "in the U.S. and Brazil". Clearly Tropicana makes an excellent product that remains quite popular. But for my money give me Florida's Natural every time.
My very favorite variety of Florida's Natural OJ is "Grower's Style". Here is a product just packed with juicy bits of orange. It is the closest thing you will ever find to biting into a succulent and delicious Florida orange. And unlike most of the foods that I crave and love this is a product that is actually good for you! There are just 110 calories in an 8 oz glass and OJ is virtually free of fat, saturated fat, trans fat and cholesterol. So drink up and enjoy! Very highly recommended!

Mmmmm, I'm with you on Florida's Natural having great OJ! You forgot to mention that they come calcium-ladened, too ;D I've got their grapefruit juice in my fridge right now, and it's equally as delicious. Thanks for sharing!
