For the love of Japan
+4 is probably the highest ranking I'm going to give to any foreign currencies. Japanese Yen (JPY) is at the forefront of these ratings. It is not because I made a lot of money from investing or speculating in JPY. Neither is it because it is the currency I'm currently investing in. These are not the reason why I prefer one currency over another. It is not personal gains that's the benchmark. Wrong, I should qualify that. I've a lot more confident in the Yen than many any other Asian currencies. For 20 years that I've been traveling to this country, the Yen do fluctuates, but within a reasonable band. A country with a large foreign reserves is one that can at least deal with the thunderstorm than one that's totally broke!
