For one who has never been to U. Studio, it's not bad. Lots of rides. Not enough of others. Too small. Too expensive! Too HOT!!!

Universal Studios Singapore is a new theme park located within Resorts World Sentosa on Sentosa IslandSingapore. It was a key component of Genting's bid for the right to build Singapore's second integrated resort. It was announced on 8 December 2006 by the Singapore government that the consortium had won the bid and construction of the theme park and the rest of the resort then started on 19 April 2007. It's the second Universal Studios to open in Asia and the first in Southeast Asia. The official plans for the park were unveiled to the public when Universal Studios Singapore released a map of the park to the public on 20 October 2009.[1]

Universal Studios Singapore will be partially open during the sneak peek week in view of the Chinese New Year Celebrations. During this week, Universal Studios Singapore will open from 5pm to 9pm every night from 14 to 21 February with food, beverage and merchandise shops open for visitors. No rides will be operating for the visitors but will be testing during this time. Universal Studios Singapore is on track to be open in the first quarter of 2010, with a soft opening on the 14th of February.[2]
