Lil Wayne has entertained me in different ways than my favorite rappers have done so throughout the years. There is something about his voice and style that has me cracking up whenever I hear one of his songs. While I wouldn't agree that Wayne is, as BET dubbed him, the best lyricist of all time - this particular song that he dedicated to Kobe Bryant and the Lakers earlier in the 2009 NBA finals had me moving my head to the beat in the car with the windows down when I first heard it on the radio.
If you haven't heard it yet, check it out. Laker and Wayne fans, you'll highly appreciate it. By the way, Boston fans - where is your victory song? I tried finding one for the 2008 season, but couldn't find it. Hehe.
Wow! That song is quite the endorsement! :) And seriously has me laughing (in a good way). I can only hope when I make the NBA, I have a song that idolizes me in same way.

I'll definitely be bumping that one every morning!
when i first heard this song, i thought it was a joke. It sounded like something that the local radio station made... kind of a promo or something. then, i realized it was Lil wayne from his voice... i actually couldn't believe it was him.
