No matter how rough the day, Big Boy sets it off right.

I had a rough start to my day today - which pretty much inspired the writing of this review. I live about 20 minutes from work, and each morning - I make sure to tune into Big Boy Radio on Power 106. No matter what my day is looking like, and no matter how the weather is, or even how horrible traffic seems to pile up, Big Boy and the crew never fail at getting me looking to the brighter side of things by the time I'm finished with my drive.
Big Boy Radio is unlike any other morning show I've heard. They take on this 'neighborhood' feel as if listeners are part of the family - and, since we're all family, Big and the rest of the morning cast speak so comfortably on the air, that the things they talk about are so casual and very relative to us listeners, so much that it's easy to develop a persona for each person after listening for a while. Many times, when I listen to other radio morning shows like Kiis FM, I feel like I'm just listening to another celebrity attempting to please mainstream America. Big Boy radio on the other hand seems to push out southern California culture on a level where everybody feels connected to the show in so many ways.

At certain moments on the hour, you'll get your standard morning show features. Call in contests, celebrity gossip, prank calls on air, sports updates, etc. Only Big Boy's neighborhood pulls all of this off in such a hip way that never gets cheesy or old. My personal favorite is the phone taps with Luther Luffeigh (Big Boy) every 10 to the hour. Hilarious! The show even has themes that have become things to look forward to each week, such as Tatoo's Monday Review, Speak on it Tuesdays, I Hate It When-sdays, and many more other random and entertaining segments of the show.

A look at just some of the fun you can expect each morning on the radio!
Listen in to Big Boy if you're ever on the road. Traffic will seem to ease up and your day will always turn out to be brighter. Guaranteed!
