Unfortunate that their great talents isn't being brought to the spotlight more often.

When I found out that Diddy formed a small time group known as B5, and that there were five singers that were actually real brothers, I thought of how musically blessed a household would be for all the kids to know how and love to sing. Imagine that?
Don't Talk Just Listen appears to be composed with the greatest of the industry in terms of producers. The group is signed under Badboy records, so producers such as Bryan Cox are found on many of the tracks. The group has a similar look and feel to the group B2K. Many of the songs are heart felt, your classic set of boys confessing their love to a woman, trying to explain what she does to them. There are not too many other artists featured on the album, with the exception of Bow Wow appearing in the single, Hydrolics - keeping to this whole theme of young artists making big news in hip hop.
The first thing I noticed about the group is their ability to blend each members' voice into each track without starting to sound the same. Talent is abundantly evident in this group. And to be able to take their great voices - and apply to the smooth track beats, the album has a very classic feel to what groups such as 112 and Jagged Edge brought to the air.
The brother who raps on a couple of the tracks fall short of that kind of talent, however - but other than that, this is a great album. The energy is strongly felt. It is truly unfortunate that Badboy Entertainment hasn't continued to take these guys to the next level. Since this album, the group has gone silent and invisible from the industry.

B5: Dustin, Kelly, Patrick, Carnell, Bryan. Personnel: B5 (background vocals). Additional personnel: Adonis Shropshire (vocals); Eric Hudson, Rob Knox, Blaze , The Underdogs , Briss (various instruments); Wyldcard (strings); Bryan Michael Cox (bass guitar); Bow Wow. On its 2007 sophomore outing, DON'T TALK, JUST LISTEN, the teen quintet B5 presents another smooth set of R&B tunes. Consisting of the five Breeding brothers--Bryan, Carnell, Dustin, Kelly, and Patrick--the Georgian vocal group teams up with Bow Wow on the catchy dance-floor-oriented hit single "Hydrolics," and offers up more sensitive moments on tracks such as the lovelorn "Tear Drops" and the New Edition-like "No One Else."
