Yes you heard it here, UnStacker was created on WINDOWS. Somehow, someway they created a new SDK that allows developers to write and code an ipod application on a Windows computer. UnStacker is the first of its kind as it is the first to actually been completely written in C++ and on a Windows machine.
Now actually getting to the application itself. UnStacker is a very simple, yet still difficult, card game that has you picking cards that are either the same value or in a row. So for instance you could gain points by choosing three Kings or getting points by getting a run on a 2, 3, 4, 5. The problem is the cards are randomly stacked into nine piles, so you can only choose from six cards at a time that are currently at the top of the pile.
When I first downloaded this game it was to only check out that the rumors were true, there was an application out there that works and was created on a Windows machine. Then I actually played it and its very addicting! You can try and get the high score on several different mixings of the cards and as of now that is all you can do. I wish there was some sort of multi-player option or ways to upload your score to the web but since the actual code to write it yet hasn't been developed then well it's ok with me! Oh, plus the app is free!
And if you want to check out DragonFireSDK, the way this app was created, head over to dragonfiresdk.com and check them out.
