I grew up in the 90s with the original Batman Animated Series and was reluctant to pay too much attention to this after watching that crappy "The Batman" series that came out after Batman Begins. … more
I went and saw this with my wife on opening night after some anticipation since the previews made it look pretty badass and it had Megan Fox as an old tyme whore. I don't know what the critics who … more
I came across this gem a few days ago and was just going to put a quick tip, but I think it's God-awful enough for a review. To start, I was shocked to find out … more
I recently took my 3-year-old on his first real hike. A quick trip to Lake Tahoe and we did the short hike to Eagle Lake via the Eagle Falls trail head near Emerald Bay. The trail is out … more

Idea was good, kind of Phillip K. Dick-esque story, but the execution, especially the ending made it feel pretty lame. Also a waste of great talent, really awesome cast.
This is a great buddy cop flick with a sci-fi element. There are aliens but they are mostly used as a device in this movie for commentary on immigrants' effect on the job market and for other topics throughout … more

Well, yeah, I guess it could! How about comic book films?

Yeah. I just haven't read an actual comic in a long time, I think the last comics I read were Long Halloween and Dark Knight Strikes Again. I'll be a moderator though.

Hi, Alan: OK, I got you turned on as a moderator who can write to the community and feature reviews, lists and polls. On the main page, on the toolbar on the far right, see "Manage" and have a ball. Let's concentrate on your expertise on comics animation and films would be my suggestion. Thanks a lot!
imahsomeAugust 21, 2010
Yeah for sure. I could probably tell someone just about anything about like the 90s Batman series and most films involving a comic character. I'm just not big on collecting comics anymore, when I do catch wind of something worth reading I wait for the graphic novel to come out.
ScotmanAugust 21, 2010
Sounds good to me! I'm more the graphic novels reader and haven't seen a lot of animated stuff, so it works. I'm trying to get a team of moderators with different skill sets that complement each other. Thanks again.

It's been awhile. Any goodies you can post on the Comics community? Or welcoming new members to the site? Thanks.

Are you busy? Any news for our comics community?
imahsomeJanuary 09, 2011
Yeah, sorry I've been extremely busy in my personal life with work, family, etc. I probably have something posted before too long though.

I know, not a problem at all. I just wanted to remind you we're still here, LOL.
Thanks for being on my comics community and writing the Red Hood review! Love this animated stuff. And also thanks for contributing to The Forbidden Planet. Hopefully the assimilation to our collective was painless!
