Good list, John- I'd love to read about what makes them great gateway scifi books or to see a little bit of the plot summary but, this is a good list to give people some ideas of where to start. Thanks for sharing :)

OK, great- thanks for clearing that up! I think it'd be more helpful to have what your personal recommendations are to get people into SciFi. I'm completely clueless about SciFi so, it'd be way cool to have some kind of intro or summary to each title. That's just my two cents, though :)
