Nuts for Nuts!

Pistachio
Pistachios are best because you MUST eat them slowly. That adds to the enjoyment of these rich morsels.
2
Cashew
Again, these are rich nuts. Perhaps they have more sugar content than other nuts? I'd need to ask a scientist about that.
3
Peanut
These are fun to eat and I like that they come "lightly salted" sometimes.
4
Macadamia
These are great -- but I've never had them by themselves. I love the cookies and ice cream that's made with them. In fact the rest of my list is best IN something -- cookies, casseroles, cakes, etc. They are all just too bitter to be eaten on their own in my estimation.
5
Almond
This is another nut that's great with something else. Beans with almonds is one of my favorite vegetable dishes.
6
Pecan
Pecans and walnuts are perfect toppings on ice cream sundaes.
7
I have this on my list because somebody else did, but I don't know what pine nuts are -- are they the same as filberts? Just wondering.
8
chocolate covered nuts
any nut covered with chocolate is wonderful.

What did you think of this list?

Dark chocolate covered nuts would be the ideal food for an ideal world.

Your #8 would be my #1 :D I don't know what filberts are, but pine nuts are really good blended up in pesto!
