When someone mentions the band KISS, most people familiar with the band will think of two things:  facepaint and the song Rock And Roll All Nite.  While hardcore fans might think of the Starchild or even the Fox's makeup, most people with a general knowledge of the group will think of the Demon's facepaint. 

Of course, the Demon is actually Gene Simmons, and besides his makeup, his money, and the many ladies he's claimed to have bedded, fans of the band also know him for the monstrous Axe bass he lugs around on stage.

Some lucky fans even get a chance to own one of those Axe basses or the just as sweet (but less unique looking) Punisher bass.  For $5,000 US dollars, fans are given the chance to purchase one of these stage-used, personally autographed basses from the man himself immediately after one of KISS' bombastic live shows.

Each bass comes with its own custom-painted case, and you actually get to meet Mr. Simmons. 

Granted, at $5,000 dollars a pop, this gift is just a little bit out of my range.  However, for people who really, really love the Demon and/or KISS and have a little extra rainy day cash stowed away, I can hardly think of a more unique, personal, and ultimately very cool gift.
