I'm all about waving when a car lets me in and not giving door dings. Funny, I don't recall ever giving a door ding, yet I've received tons over the years, hmmm, who are the ones that have the reverse door ding ratios?? :)
I've only lived in a few places in my life for an extended period of time. I was born and raised in the same house in Encino (San Fernando Valley) through high school, a lot of like and totally in those days! I went to USC, where not only did I receive an education in business, it also has provided me incredible, life-long friendships. I moved to Manhattan Beach shortly after school, thinking it was just a transitional post-college move with some buddies, umm, I'm still here!!
By day, I'm a financial advisor, have been in the business since I graduated college. I try to live a balanced life, when not in work mode, my main interests are sports (playing and viewing – go Trojans, Lakers and Dodgers!), travel, anything food related, health (I have to, my weight fluctuates like Chandler on Friends =)), movies, concert dvd's, books and overall personal growth.
I'm not a huge techie, but you would think otherwise if you saw my media room (how I got my user name), designed for multiple sports viewing while simultaneous web browsing. When going to dinner, unlike my black pug, Beaumont, I try to adopt more of a European attitude of enjoying the meal, not just eating the meal. My favorite word is "boutique" (Review coming!).
I look forward to further finding and developing my voice on here. I'm greatly excited with my Lunch role as an investor, board member and especially as a user!! If there is anything I can do to help make your Lunch experience more rewarding, please don't hesitate to let me know.
I feel fortunate to have received a lot in my life. I've recently reached a point where my focus has shifted to try to be more about the giving, except when it comes to door dings of course ;^).
