Cool Dog ID tags

  • Apr 29, 2010
While I still believe that a microchip is an essential for any pet these days, there's a lot to be said for just having a classy and customized pet ID tag hanging off of their collars. I've found some really fun ones! Some are just beautiful, while some are great for laughs.

What I love about these is that every one of them can be custom engraved for free!

If you want to see a closeup, click on the link in the text and it'll take you to a page where you can see the large size version with all of the details.
1
Blazing Heart Dog Tag
This is an absolutely beautiful tag with a gorgeous scroll design.  It comes in either bronze or pewter and I just fell in love with it.
2
Crossbones Dog Tag
How can you not love a dog tag with such attitude? I love the idea of a pink crossbones! It comes in black, too.
3
Lucky Me Dog Tag
This is another one with just lovely scrollwork.  It also comes comes in pewter or bronze.
4
Player Dog Tag
This one is hilarious! And it makes a great statement for the owner, the dog, or both!
5
Shamrock Dog Tag
This one is engraved with a 4-leaf clover. And I love the statement - especially if you're feeling lucky.  Who doesn't want a little luck these days?
6
Sunflower Dog Tag
The enamel work on this is beautiful. If you look at closeup of the flower, there are different shades of the color used. Very, very pretty.

What did you think of this list?

These are so cute and classy! I've never seen these types of dog tags before, but I like that they all have lobster clasps so that they can be easily changed. Thanks for sharing this cool list, Hollie! :)
