When you want your cat to come it says that all cats will come running when you rattle a bag of treats. We have adopted a cat and if we are having trouble trying to find cat treats that she will eat, we want to give her different kinds of treats from time to time so she don't get bored with them. This treat from Whiskas Temptations is developed and dispersed by the Mars company and is an all natural treat with vitamins and minerals packed into a small chewable treat. But, how do you get lucky enough to purchase one that you know that your cats will like. There lies the problem, you have to spend to find, some tasty treat that your picky cats will like. These could be the best treat in the world for one cat and be free, but if your cat does not like it then they are worth less to us. This treat is made in the USA in Franklin Tennessee.

Thank heavens that we have a few dogs that act like garbage disposals and will everything in sight even their own feces. Our dogs will eat anything again and again, and every time that we have another failure, the dogs are the beneficiary of this. So, if we fail at a certain treat then at least the dogs are happy. You can find this treat at Meijer's or pet supply store for $1.99 for a 3 ounce reseal able bag, Temptations is a tantalizing turkey flavored snack, and is produced by the Whiskas Pet Products division of the mars company. This should only be used as a snack and not the main source of their diet.

Ingredients
This is made from chicken by-product meal , ground corn, animal fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), dried meat by products, rice, wheat flour, natural flavors, brewers dried yeast, potassium chloride, choline chloride, salt, turkey meal, taurine, DL-methionine, calcium carbonate, vitamins B6-B2-B1-D3-E1-A acetate-B12 supplement, niacin supplement, riboflavin supplement, thiamine mononitrate, d-calcium pantothenate, biotin supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid supplement, Minerals= zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, manganese sulfate, potassium and iron iodide, and mixed tocopherols.

Guaranteed Analysis
This also has crude protein minimum of 30.0%, crude fat a minimum of 17.0%, crude fiber maximum of 4.5%, and maximum moisture of 12%. They will also only get under 2 calories per treat.

Description and Experience
This product is basically only smells good to animals, as for humans this does not smell to bad at all, this smells like a mild animal feed and does not like beef. But, hey, who am I to say what smells good. This has one type of shape, and that is the shape of a miniature pillow. All of these pieces of treats, are also two different colors, and they are dark brown on the outside and a light tan on the inside. These are hard when you try to squeeze them, they can break up into smaller pieces when you apply pressure, these on average are also about ½" in diameter.

Just like us, you are taking a chance when you buy a treat for your cat. Unlike a dog, which will eat anything, cats are very finicky, and of course our cat is no different. It is hit or miss when it comes to treats, even if you ask for help from the store employee. In this case I don't think that our cat realizes that these are actually treats, but our dogs don't care and don't know that these are cat treats they just gobble them up if we offer them a treat. These also come in a 3 ounce reseal able plastic bag that can be recycled to help the environment.

Conclusion
In our case we are stuck with some new so called cat/dog dog treats, so we make sure that we only purchase small samples ,3 ounces or less, and so we continue on our adventure, to try and find which treat will make our cats go crazy when you open up the container. This time our cat appears to just sniff this treat, and one won't even touch it. No matter, what the companies make the packaging or television ads look or the product smell like, if you have a picky cat, then you will just have keep trying to find a treat that makes them happy. These may make that cat in other households go crazy, but it does nothing for one of our cat, and the dogs will follow the treat and do tricks for a bite.

If we are lucky ,all we get from our calico is a weird look as if they were saying "What am I supposed to do with that?". The calico cat doesn't even eat them if we toss them into her food bowl, and not even if we try to use them as a treat or training treat. The only thing that our calico cat will do with these is smell them if that, we did get a lick at first from our cat, but that was it. They do still make a good cat treat for training for other cats. The minute that our dogs hear the bag of treats rattle, they come running and beat our cat to the punch, and even though these don't smell like anything really special to our dogs, they still scarf these up. With any luck we will find a treat that both of our cat and dogs will enjoy.
