Puppies are cute no-matter what they look like but when they get into a little bit of mischief, we all tend to forget what they look like. Just like when my Miniature Schnauzers bring us a bird, bunny, or even a frog. They just sit there with it laid by their food bowl as if this was their prize. This doesn't bother us as bad as them bringing something live into the house such as a mouse and they set it down right in front of us and is scurries around with a half eaten broken body dragging around leaving a trail of blood on a newly mopped floor. How can we scold them for doing this, so we have to keep giving them treats for doing things that comes naturally to them. These two are ratters that take their jog as killers of the backyard zone seriously, and they have a kill zone, that is outside and covers the whole back yard.

These are the cutest little killings machines that you will meet and it is hard to get mad at them when they are just doing their job, so that is why we try and praise them a little by giving them a small treat such as one of these "Beef and Cheese" flavored "Snausages". These can be found at just about any pet supply store or at any grocery store for as little as 5.99 for a 24oz. bag. All of these places do sell a lot of different size bags of this product all of which come in a re-sealable bag to help keep them moist and chewy.

Description and Ingredients
This product takes the usual stuff that dogs will get inside of a treat, such as: wheat flour, beef, soy flour, corn syrup, water sufficient for processing, propylene glycol, liver, animal fat (BHA used as a preservative), dried cheese product, chicken by product meal, calcium sulfate, potassium chloride, salt, phosphoric acid, vegetable oil, titanium dioxide, garlic powder, sorbic acid (used as a preservative), potassium sorbate (used as a preservative), natural smoke flavor, yellow 6, yellow 5, red 40, BHA (used as a preservative), citric acid (used as a preservative).

The guaranteed analysis of this product is 15% of crude protein, 7% crude fat, 1.5% crude fiber, and 29% moisture. This is also produced by the Del-Monte pet products division. These are approximately 1 ½" in length and 5/8" in diameter, it is orange-ish tan in color and has a deep reddish brown center. This whole treat is soft moist and chewy and will be gone is seconds with any dog. There are many flavors and different products to choose from but this one is the Beef and Cheese flavor

Experience
We have been giving these types of treats to out dogs in moderation, because if we left it up to them they would eat the whole package up in one sitting. This cheesy snack will stay fresh in the re-sealable bag that the treat comes in, but we take them out and put them inside of their treat jar and the still stay fresh until they have all been eaten. If your dogs crave snacks just like you do then you will have to keep plenty of these or some kind of treat on hand. You can't stop at just one of your treats and the only way that they can stop at more than one of their treats is with your help. They will positively beg you for more than one but you have to be stronger than your dog and only give them only a few at a time.

We limit our dogs to treats twice a day, this way they will still eat their regular food. They are just like real kids, if you let your kids eat candy all of the time then that is not good for them. Just like your kids, your pets need your guidance and limit them as to how much that they get. These do not smell bad to us, but they smell great to our pets. Once they hear the treat jar lid or the packaging to the treat rattle they come running right away.

Conclusion
I can highly recommend this product or any of the other treats made by Del-Monte. Snausages will help keep your dogs tail wagging. But, you will need to keep up on their teeth treatments because the tartar will build up very fast if not watched. But, overall this is an excellent treat and your pets will do all kinds of dances to get one of these.
