I travel to Cancun every year in November. Mexico is reliably warm and always delivers on the sand and sun essentials for a good vacation. I’ve been staying at Melia Cancun for years and must say that it has never disappointed me. The resort is consistently well kept, with beautiful accommodations and pool, exceptional customer service, and stellar amenities. It is truly unique in that every aspect of the resort is focused on attention to customer service and luxury.
The main reason I choose to stay at the Melia year after year is the consistency. I like having a familiar place to go to where I can count on having an enjoyable experience. The resort is roomy, with plenty of space so that guests don’t feel like they are cramped or on top of each other. The Melia is positioned square to the ocean, so you always have a beautiful view of the water. The resort has a massive, clean beach front making it easy to enjoy the sand or the first-class pool. There are a variety of restaurants all of which are very good. I’ll often eat at the pool bar during the day or walk down the beach to eat at the Ritz.
All the rooms have been redone since the hurricane and are new and well appointed. Each room has a balcony that is private. Inside the lobby is a gorgeous atrium that adds to the exotic, exclusivity of the resort. I'm so impressed with the Melia that it is certainly a place I will visit for years to come.
