Imagine the blinding terror as Joran Van Der Sloot hovers over your nearly lifeless corpse ready to deliver what will be your death blow. Picture in your minds eye the flush of pleasure rising on the cowards face as he feeds off your fear. His contorted face is the last thing his two victims ever saw. These images were an unfortunate reality for two young women who were caught in the web of this spider. These women will never speak to loved ones again, will never have another birthday, will never live to see another sunrise. Joran Van der sloot is a thief.
Anyone with a mother, a daughter, a sister or a wife knows the worry that acompanies sending a loved one out into the world to face those predatory individuals who seek to prey upon anyone they preceive as weak or helpless. Those who take pleasure in destroying lives and families. Joran is one of these pathetic sociopaths without a doubt, but how do you make a punishment that is severe enough for th premedatated murder of two young women in thier prime? It's a tough question.
The main problem with the task is taking emotion out of your desicion. It would be hard to make such a heavy choice with anger and sadness clouding one's judgment. I am not a strong enough man to do it, but this is the same problem a jury will be faced with when deciding joran's fate. If it were up to me I would reserve a fate too gruseome for words for Joran.
I hope that these two women rest in piece, and that thier family may have some sort of solace from Van Der Sloots capture.
