Sharing useful knowledge and opinions online is not only helpful, but actually has the power to make us all smarter and more thoughtful.

The more insight we have into one another's perspective, the more we can see where they're coming from ... and maybe hear one another a bit more ... and maybe become a bit more understanding and tolerant. Maybe the world even becomes a better place. Lofty? Perhaps. Worth aiming for? You bet!

A medium that is this valuable deserves to be lauded!

Selecting the Winners
The winners will be selected from a combination of votes from the Lunch Academy, which consists of the Top 1,000 ranked members from Lunch.com, and the total number of helfpulness and compliments received.

So... what makes a great review, you ask?

A great review is helpful to the community and thoroughly explores the topic in a compelling way. While much is subjective, a remarkable review is likely to include some or all of these qualities:

Thoughtful Opinions
Gives subjective insight that goes beyond a factual summary, creatively working in related knowledge.
Clear and Organized
Easy to read reviews with a logical progression of ideas offer a more convincing perspective.
Good Looking
Photos and video help make a review visually interesting and use media to support the perspective.
Helpful Tips
Include relevant details, context and helpful tips that would help someone making a decision about the topic. Like the kind of detailed scoop you'd get from a friend.
Full of Personality!
Enjoyable to read with personal touches that help the author's personality come through.
