I don't laugh out loud very often, but this guy is freaking hilarious. Sharp witted, yet friendly and not mean spirited. Fantastic way to make light of issues that otherwise make me want to flee the country to some Costa Rican hideaway.
It's just a fun guilty pleasure. And who doesn't love Jeremy Piven's rendition of Ari. I orignially though no one outside of L.A. and the entertainment industry would get into this .... so much inside baseball, but it's a huge hit. Shows what I know.
Super authentic feeling show, from the FDNY to the blue collar Irish American family dysfunction, it has had some phenomenal writing and acting in past seasons. This current season though (2009) is atrocious. To see a show fall that far downhill is super tragic and painful to watch... must've changed the entire writing staff and director is all I can figure. We seem to keep recording, nonetheless.

As so many shows do, this has gone WAY downhill in Season 2, but I'm hooked nonetheless. Seems to be more something I spend Sunday night griping about, rather than enjoying these days. Concept was brilliant though and Season 1 was fantastic.

I love dance. Sadly for me I'm not talented enough to have made a career of it, but this is the most fun I've had watching dancing since Fame. Oddly, I have no interest at all in Dancing with the Stars, and have never seen more than 5 minutes of it.
What a classic. It's stood the test of time, and despite the rampant commercialization and merchandising of all the characters, the show itself is about the best thing on TV that your kid could be watching.
Toggles from train wreck that I can't take my eyes off of, to most brilliant platform to foster talent that I've ever seen. Takes me back to the good old Star Search years too ; ) Some seasons I can't stomach the audition episodes.. just to cringy. Carrie Underwood is one for the record books though, as is Jennifer Hudson. REALLY wanna smack that new judge though.
Why is this still on my DVR? It was a guilty pleasure to start with, and now is just utter crap, which I rarely even watch. This is cathartic, realizing I need to make some serious edits to the recording list ; )
Um, LOVE! I always liked Ceasar, but after catching a marathon of the show while confined to bed rest at the end of my, I developed an obsession. I pretty much think he's genious and take nearly everything he says as gospel. It's all such common sense, really - that's maybe what makes it so appealing. Dogs don't speak English, and they're not people... pretty basic stuff, yet makes all the difference.
Used to be around 1 out of 5 episodes would interest me. Now, it's all sort of inane watered down crud. Appealing to lowest common denominator doesn't make for very great TV... ok, duh, but still it applies here.
Kinda fantastic, in that oh my god this is scary kids tv show kinda way. My 2.5 yr old loves it though, and is super into learning the dance routines. "Go Harry, Go Harry, Go Harry, Go Harry... somebody scream!!!!! "
Hubby's a huge fan, and I follow pretty closely as well. Two year old daughter is WAY into it too, and spends most of the race screaming "get 'em, get 'em, chase 'em!!" at the top of her lungs while doing flying leaps off of the couch.
