Guillermo Del Toro’s name is usually enough to get me to see a movie since a number of his handiwork have become some of my favorite films (“Pan‘s Labyrinth“, “The Devil‘s Backbone“ and “Cronos“ to name a few). Good atmosphere and it does look like a horror movie. But the screenplay just did not have what it takes make you run to momma. See full review here.
