Mompreneurs (R) Online: Using the Internet for Work at Home Success is a must have book for any woman desiring to work from home. Not only does it offer you sound advice for transitioning from the office to the home office, it also provides much needed inspiration and encouragement for starting and growing your business. What really resonated with me when I first read this book in 2006, was how relatable the authors were and how practical the advice was.
After reading this book and visiting the correlating web site Mompreneurs Online, I felt inspired and prepared (the important part) to start my very own home based business. Having just had my second child, I found useful tips to not only manage the free time I had but great resources that helped me really get things done when I could.
What I like most about this book and online resource is the real-life community of Mompreneurs it has fostered. I personally call the authors, Pat and Ellen my friends...plus many, many more women I have met through this virtual community of mom entrepreneurs. I highly recommend this book and online resource/forum to all work at home moms and women entrepreneurs. What really makes this group different is the genuine relationships that naturally form and helpful support of all the members.

Pat Cobe and Ellen Parlapiano are co-authors of the Mompreneurs® books and have been the go-to experts on working from home for over a decade. In the 1990s, they coined and trademarked the catchy word "mompreneurs" to describe entrepreneurial moms, landed on Oprah and other national shows...and the rest is history!
