Doritos 3rd Degree Burn - Feels like a mouth full of flames. And I like it!

My interest had been growing for Doritos, which was something a bit surprising. This was mainly because their brands never really impressed me to the point where I thought about having more. They just always felt like average chips and that's it. Until I tried the ultra spicy Degree Burn brands. Doritos 2nd Degree Burns: Fiery Buffalo were fantastic and I was buying those on a regular basis. Therefore, after being impressed by those, I went for Doritos 3rd Degree Burn: Scorching Habanero. You see, each time I scorched my mouth I graduated to the next fiery level.

At first, I really wasn't use to these and I thought the extra spice was overkill. I tossed one chip in my mouth, and I needed some water. I got ridiculous and tossed in about 4 next, it was hell in the mouth! I mean the spicy and hot flavor will do a number to you if you're not used to them. The spices and the cheese sticks to your fingers pretty well, and I normally just washed it off.

It eventually got to the point where I was eating these like nothing and I enjoyed having them. But the only problem I had was that Habenero flavor. The vegetable can be tasted a little too much, and it's not as good to me, as the buffalo flavor of the 2nd Degree Burns. Although these are spicier and hotter, the 2nd Degree's taste better.

I use to really enjoy these chips. Unfortunately, they are no longer available in my area, and several folks have told me they aren't available around them either. If you spot these spicy devils, try to enjoy them as best you can, especially, if you like spicy foods.

If you want a sick burn, then go for these. If you want a good burn with a nice taste, then grab the 2nd's. In other words, go with what ever floats your boat, but if you like spicy chips, you really can't go wrong with neither.
