Big Map Idea
1989 - Tibbetts plays mostly Acoustic Guitars and also Dobra, Kalimba, Pianolin and Tapes. The music is a marvelous blend of Chamber jazz with folk and World Music influences. Very original compositions that flow beautifully and Tibbetts has a very unique way of phrasing and putting a melody together. The Brilliant percussionist Marc Anderson plays with Tibbetts here like on most of his CD's. A great recording full of Beautiful music.

1994- Massive soundscapes - powerful driving percussion and intense Electric Guitars create a Thrilling and somewhat dark and intense album full of surprises. Strong and troubled emotions explored here with all the Musical imagination and Genius Tibbetts has at his disposal. Great album.

1997 - Cho (with Choying Drolma). Steve Tibbetts recorded the Buddhist chant of Choying Drolma and other nuns in Nepal and added Guitar, Percussion and other sounds for a wonderful and unique CD.

1999 - A (with Knut Hamre). Not heard this one - unfortunately out of print. Knut Hamre is a Hardanger Fiddle player from Norway.

A Man About A Horse
2002 - Shortly before going to a surgery on his hand after an accident, Tibbetts went to the studio and recorded a lot of Guitar solos both Acoustic and Electric and while recovering used them as a source material for this recording. Electronic Soundscapes, grand world music influenced percussion and Guitars Galore. Not the best he´s done but still a Great album.

2007- Another album with the Buddhist Nun Choying Drolma where Tibbetts and Percussionist Mark Anderson blend their music with the Buddhist chants. Deep, flowing and calm Brilliance.

Natural Causes
2010 - Natural Causes. S.T. plays a mellow, warm sounding Acoustic guitar, influenced by Indian music, creating a thoughtful, deep flow, full of beauty. A great CD.
