Well, that sucked...

Well, that sucked. And not in a good vampiric way either.

You'd think by book number nine, they'd have this woman an editor in place. I was confused by the storyline, which was all over the place. I was confused by the characters, who seemed to just figments of themselves. I was confused by the tone of the book, it's a series but it didn't feel like any of the previous 8. There was a lot more violence. A lot more blood, a lot more... anger. Gone are the days of silliness and fun.

I'm going to give book #10 a try, but I may be giving up on this series. (And, no, I haven't seen the television series).
