Book number four of Laurell K. Hamiltion's Meredith Gentry series, entitled A Stroke of Midnight was an excellent addition to the storyline, but proved to be slightly different than the previous books. There is less action in this book, no duels or fighting off untold evils, but it dosen't make the book any less exciting.
