Definitely not the best cupcakes (though they were voted this)

My cupcake was good, but there was no comparison between what I got at Bristol Farms and what I've had a places like Sprinkles and Crumbs. The cupcake itself was beautiful...however, the frosting was way too think and not airy like the frosting at Crumbs. The cake was good, but a bit dry.
The one good point was the price. At 2.99 and at a relatively large size, this was a bargain compared to Sprinkles and Crumbs.
Basically, it wasn't bad....however if you want an outstanding cupcake, bite the bullet and make a trip to Beverly Hills for the other two.

My experience was the same. They were beautiful cupcakes, but so dry. We bought 6 different flavors and brought them to a dinner party. Most people did not finish their cupcake. Mine and my husband's were really dry...almost as if it was stale. Very disappointing, but we tried again. The german choc icing was fantastic (although way more than necessary) but the cake terribly dry.
What is "Bristol Farms"? I realise that you live in America and it may be something commonplace to you but I am from Bristol in England and have never heard the term before. Thanks
