Ok, I confess. I've sinned again!!! God forgives me. For something so good? Please forgive me!
Yes, that last Häagen-Dazs strawberry ice cream was supposed to be the last pint 3 weeks ago! And I stay true to my word. Didn't have any ice cream since then. Until... well, it's lunch time, nothing that looks like lunch in the fridge and it looks like it's about to pour outside. So, I ransacked the fridge and see what I found?
A tub of the latest new addition to Häagen-Dazs collection of ice cream! I bought that tub along with the strawberry ice cream for my dad. He loves anything coffee flavored and I found this Cappucino truffle ice cream along with my strawberry ice cream. Well, when a man (in this case woman) is hungry, he's got to do what he's got to do! So, lunch it is and it's a sumptious one too, Cappucino Truffle ice cream with a slice of bread!
I've tried many coffee flavored ice cream, including those from the same company. But this is unlike any, as with their strawberry ice cream. This one has some lump of truffle embedded within the smooth creamy taste of ice cream, making it very much like beans of coffee and I like biting into those lump of truffle. It's a little bitter (the truffle i mean, like black chocolate) and when combined with the sweeter coffee ice cream, it's perfect. I prefer it with a slice or two of white bread as that makes it less sweet and appeal to my sense of guilt (a decrease measure of it, that is). So, I have a simple and sumptious lunch in the making and enjoying every bite of it. I know, it's common to simply lick on a cone of ice cream but when you can bite onto something, it feel fuller, doesn't it? Yes?!
