The Schadenfreude of Professional Baking

A great blog where you can see the disastrous results of some well-intentioned bakers/cake decorators. Some of the horrible cakes on display here are the fault of bad execution, but many of them are the product of horrible ideas from the beginning. Good for a laugh, every day.

I love this blog. Wait, let me make myself clear. I LOVE this blog. The subtitle of the blog, which pretty much says it all, is "When professional cakes go horribly, hilariously wrong." And trust me folks, they go wrong more often than you would think and to a greater degree than you could possibly imagine. Wreck on!

Yes, I read many many blogs every week, and it's not exaggeration to say that Cake Wrecks is among my very favorites and I make a point to check in at least 3 times a week. Besides the already mentioned hilarity, the site is great because it is consistent with content, always has a funny picture and the words are brief, with personality that adds to the funny cakes rather than detracts from them. I love love Cake Wrecks!
