They also include cute ideas on how to decorate your cupcake creations and then package them. The book is divided up into eight categories; swirled and sprinkled, dipped and glazed, simple and sweet, filled and layered, piped and topped, birthdays, holidays, and finally, celebrations. All of her recipes are sure please everyone from the beginning baker to the old time pro. Included on each page is a picture of the final product, so novice bakers can see how Martha herself would have it. Some standout recipes include her Tiramisu cupcakes complete with Coffee-Marsala Syrup that uses a fresh mascarpone cheese for the frosting is dusted lightly with unsweetened cocoa powder. Her Black Forest cupcakes utilizes buttermilk and sour cream in the cake itself and is split in half to sandwich the decadent preserved cherries and pastry cream. Whether a Martha Stewart fan, or just a cupcake lover, this book is a must have for any baker.
