The next time I attend a baby shower or bridal shower and receive a tulle bag of Jordan almonds, or a single mini 3x5 picture frame, I might just gag. Don't get me wrong, I do think that it is thoughtful to give out favors as guests are departing however, the typical favors given are anything but thoughtful. Really, what do I need a rubber ducky candle for? I don't. But what I would love is something like these fabulous looking cookies. Now give me an edible favor and I will be happy- oh and you won't be wasting your hard earned money either. Rather than tossing that mini picture frame into an old desk drawer, I will actually use {and enjoy} a tasty treat like these cute cookies. Plus if you order from a company like this fabulous one, Cakebox Cookies, you can still get cutsie favors to match your party's theme. I mean, just think about it.
Not only are these cookie favors available in almost any color and design- if you do not see what you need it can be created just for your party. The cookies are handmade (talk about thoughtful) and they are actually pretty tasty too. Often cookies like these can be hard and almost stale tasting, but these cookie favors are surprisingly soft. If you want to "see" for yourself, you can always order a sample from this virtual bakery before placing your entire order. If you decide to place an order with Cakebox Cookies, you can be assured that each cookie will be individually wrapped and tied with a bow. This really sealed the deal with me because all I had to do was order- the favors arrived and were 100% ready for my event.
The only downside of this specialty cookie company is that they are small which means that if you want to order a large amount of cookies (like for a large party or wedding) you have to order well in advance which means putting down a 25% deposit to save your date.
