Get the inside scoop

The funny thing is that I bought this two years ago, and I just realized I haven't bought a scoop since. That's very unusual for me, because I'm always on the lookout for a better scoop. Apparently, I've found the better scoop!

It is very solid feeling and heavy. No worries about breaking this scoop. The handle is very easy to hold and provides good leverage.

The scoop is very thick aluminum. That really helps when running it under hot water because the scoop will stay warm when it hits the frozen ice cream. Thin scoops are hardly worth heating, as they freeze almost instantly when they hit the ice cream.

No gimmicks here -- it just works!

I've gone through several ice cream scoops. They either break (usually at the junction between the handle and the scoop) or corrode to the point where they are unusable.    Finally found an ice cream scoop that can go the distance. Easy and comfortable to use even with rock hard ice cream, and very sturdy construction. I've had this for nearly two years and it has held up extremely well.    Bit pricy, but it will be the last ice cream scoop you'll ever need to buy.

About this topic

Wiki

This ice-cream scoop has sharp metal edges that cut perfectly round balls from even the hardest ice cream, frozen yogurt, or sorbet. The handle is ergonomically designed for holding with a fist while keeping hands and wrists from feeling strained. For safety, the handle is made of non-slip plastic that provides a secure grip and insulates hands from the cold temperature of the scoop. For long-term durability, the handle is coated with UV protection to prevent it from ever yellowing. The ice cream scoop is perfectly balanced with a superior scoop shape to cut through even the hardest ice cream. This heavy, sturdy scoop has a superior design which makes it well-equipped to dig into even the hardest frozen confection. The scoop shape also creates and appetizing presentation.
