I'm a history major specialising in the British empire, with a general focus towards South Africa but embracing studies of the whole of the empire. I've been drinking single malt scotch whisky for nearly a decade, thanks to my dad, and there aren't a lot of distilleries that're available in Canada that I haven't tried. I've expanded my interest into rum and port this past year, and while still a neophyte I've tried enough to have a good grasp on the both.
