Hello Everyone,

I live in Missouri, which is almost exactly in the middle of the United States.  Many people refer to it as "Misery" but I think it's a great place to live.  I live in a small town about 30 miles south of St. Louis.

I work in a small veterinary practice on the outskirts of St. Louis.  We deal mainly with small … more

The Shepherd of the Hills
The first time I read this book was on a New Year's Eve spent at my grandparents' house. I was probably around 10 or 11 years old. I didn't want to go to sleep & I had always seen this book sitting …

Pontiac Grand Prix
I've been in love with Pontiac's line of cars since the mid 1980's, when one of my aunts purchased a purple Firebird.  I thought it was the coolest car I'd ever seen & have wanted one ever since.  …

This is atually the perfect game for me because it combines trivia & movies.  The only reason why I'm rating it a 3 instead of a 4 or 5 is because it's so hard to find people to play against.  …

Marvel Ultimate Alliance
This game, along with Forza 2, came with the Xbox 360 when I purchased it.  This is really what ignited my interest in superheroes & comic books.  There is a huge line-up of characters that …

Fable 2
I don't play many video games but every once in a while I'll find one that really catches my fancy.  Fable II is one of them.  First of all, it puts me into a fantasy world of magic & sword …

The Official John Wayne Reference Book
I got this book when I was in 7th grade. I had to do a research paper on any famous person and, just to be different, I chose John Wayne. I didn't know much about him at the time. I'd seen a few of his …
I normally don't do food reviews but I just finished eating dinner, Imo's pizza, & thought I'd give it a try since it's a local favorite.  In case you were wondering, Imo is pronounced ee-mow, …
Astaire & Rogers Ultimate Collector's Edition
This is one of the best DVD collections I've seen. The movies are, of course, wonderful but it's the packaging & bonus material that makes this such a great set. I originally purchased the first volume, …

Care2 - largest online community for healthy and green living, human rights and animal welfare.
Care2 is a fun & interesting website.  I found it several years ago when I was browsing the web out of boredom.  They have a lot of great tips & articles on how to "be green."  …

Gorgeous photos of your flowers!  Do you have a flickr?  Because I'd love to add you as a contact if you do!  Flickr is where I keep all my flower pictures :)

Thanks! No, I'm not on flickr, yet. I may start an account if I keep up with my photography. You sure have some amazing pictures.

Hi there. I noticed your review of Emma. Just wanted to let you know you can add a data point without reviewing it by clicking the "Add Data Point" link on your homepage. Otherwise, if you're using Lunch This (which I use because it's so easy!) it automatically creates a data point and gives you a review box. You can click delete on the "Actions" drop-down menu under the title. But... considering your great book reviews, I'd love to see you finish the Emma one! Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi there! Yes, played the flute years ago & now I have to relearn everything. It's fun but frustrating at the same time because I want to be back at the level I used to play at.

I know...I keep remembering how I used to love to play "When I'm 64" or "Danny Boy"- is that a little morbid for a junior high school student?!? Then, I tried to get swing but, that is HARD...so yeah, I'm right where you're at!
