What's the cat's name?

That's weird, thanks! I fixed it. Her name is Salem.

That seems appropriate for a black cat. I have a male grey tiger named Fred, for Freddy Kruger. As a kitten he always played with all 20 claws out which meant I bled profusely until he was grown.

LOL...that's kittens for you. Salem was mostly wild during her kitten period. Not friendly, at all. Now, I can't get her out of my lap.

My all-time favorite cat was a Persian named Minya, which was the name of Godzilla's son, because she was a terrifying little ball of fluff and I thought she was going to grow up to trample Tokyo. She was the world's sweetest cat. I adored her.

I love Persians. I'd like to have one but I don't plan on getting anymore cats. I despise cleaning that litter box.

Its not so bad. Its easier than trying to housebreak a puppy. I wrote a "review" of My cat Twiggy. She was one of those cats who could have been taught to use a toilet if we'd only thought of it back then. She hated using the litter box. So she would pee by standing directly over the shower drain. I bet we could have taught her to flush too.

I don't know about that...it only took me about 3 months to house train my puppy. I've still got another 15 years, or so, of cleaning the litter box.

But kittens are so easy to train no matter how young they are you set them down in the litter box once, maybe dig their little paws in it once to show them what it is, and they look up at you as if to say "Thank you so much. I was wondering where this thing was>" And that's that."
