That’s how I feel when I found myself enjoying music from the past era. 60s, 70s, 80s…
I am blessed with parents who are musical inclined and who have a love for music in their younger days. Mario Lanza, Elvis Presley, Engelbert Humperdinck… I heard them when their music were still recorded on LP, not cassettes, not CD, not MD, not DVD & certainly not MP3! They were/are all great singers and had/have excellent vocals. Their songs live on even after they have passed on.
For old time sake, I found some old recordings and new videos by Engelbert on YouTube. Ha, I’m beginning to be thankful for Youtube’s wide reach of audiences!

Excellent, aren’t they? The oldies might still be the best! Nostalgic, romantic and certainly everlasting! I do have my parents to thank for, this is one of the legacies they leave with me, an appreciation for music of all ages!
