This 1993 drama about a laid off defense contractor who snaps and takes out his anger on society is a rivetting one. Michael Douglas masters his role as Bill Foster (aka "D-FENS") as he goes on a rampage through LA against everyone that either get in his way or whom he feels are "scum". Douglas manages to be both intimidating and humorous throughout this film, and it's sad to see that Joel Schumacher would go on from making this gem to the godawful Batman films Batman Forever and Batman & Robin.
Here's a scene where D-Fens snaps at a burger joint.
