Even though I live in Louisiana, I've enjoyed ice hockey for as long as I can remember. I believe it is due to the fact that a frozen pond or ice rink was a bizarre thing for a boy who was used to wearing shorts in December!

Welcome to the greatest sport on Earth. You take a bunch of guys, put them in ice skates, give them sticks, and let them go out and fight over a small rubber disc. Next to ice hockey, everything else looks like it was made for ADD.

A game played on an ice rink by two teams of six players. Each team consists of one goalie & five skaters (three forwards & two defensemen). The object is to drive the puck into the opposing team's goal.
