Hi Raina. You know that when you prepare Annie's Macaroni and Cheese, you can alter the steps a little and achieve a thicker "Southern Style" mac and cheese with the addition of a little unsalted butter and some spices. Also, if you continue to cook it on a low heat setting for about five minutes after you've added the cheese mixture it will thicken a lot more.

aha, thats what is it-- I don't put enough butter. I'm always trying to make it all healthy style, so I suppose that's why mine is more like alfredo pasta. Thanks for the tip! I'll try it (I have a costco 4 pack at home) and let you know what I think!

Well, that's from a mixture out of a box, so it's a horrible example... but yeah, I do cook. Mainly I make vegetarian Asian and Mediterranean foods. And lots and lots of rice dishes.
