Some people think Counterstrike is a shooter. That 3D stuff makes me want to take dramamine. I'm all about 2D shooters, or shmups (shoot em ups) as the shooter community affectionately calls them!

A very rare arcade cabinet, go the chance to play this at Classic Gaming Expo in 2000.Spinning planets explode, shoot then down before they go "insane." Awesome and beautiful vector graphics.

Very underrated shooter on the Turbographx 16, best level is the one that looks like the inside of a human body (cells, platelet looking things, and muscles trying to attack you)

I love how the perspective changes along a Tron-like grid in this shooter. Yes, I love anything that has to do with Tron.

Use your enemies powers against you! Very interesting to balance dodging and absorbing enemy fire. OMG so hard also.

This game is so pretty but SO hard. Maybe I'm just playing it wrong.

Dial controller was pretty innovative at the time, but what's great about this game are the purdy vector graphics.
