Reality TV That I Actually Believe is Real

Cheaters is one of few reality TV shows that I actually believe is real. I can't say I love it... but I definitely dig it to some degree. Something about those previews with the catfights in the confrontations... Yes, I love a good trainwreck.

One of my favorite things about the show is how dry and cheesy the narrator is. For instance, in the introduction, the narrator might say something like, "He's a music producer accused of making beautiful music with another lady", or "He's a massuese accused of giving other females the rubdown". Soooo good. There are also hints of sarcasm as he narrates throughout the episode.
Yes, I may look forward to watching Cheaters during the previews, but those confrontations are always so hard to watch because they're heartbreaking. It puts me in a somber mood and temporarily makes me lose faith in love and relationships, yet I still find myself watching it every week. I guess this show is for those who are a bit masochistic.
On a lighter note, did I mention that Joey Greco is kinda sorta saucy? I swear he's better to look at in action!

Sorry to disappoint you but this one has a large degree of fakery going on in it. For instance the episode when Joey Greco gets stabbed and hauled off to the hospital in an ambulance is completely faked. Another show investigated it and found that he never arrived at hospital and that an ambulance was never dispatched to that location on that day. I smell some Jerry Springer.

I've watched this on and off. It's creepy and interesting at the same time, using technology to confront the cheaters. Bums me out, too, that is why I don't watch anymore. Geesh.... Good review.

Thanks, Jim! I haven't watched Cheaters since I got rid of my TV, but yeah, they're kinda downers to watch. Makes me grateful for the awesome people in my life though :)

@djevoke sent me to this review. Ha ha ha ha...I hope I'm never on that show. I saw YouTube clips of the host getting stabbed and another one where a guy popped the crew with a paintball gun. Classic TV.
