I will admit that I never miss an episode of the Bachelor. Even though I can't stand the cattiness of the 25 women or the drama-queen tears...I must watch. This season I think the ladies were "slim pickings." Even though I think Jason (the current Bachelor) has 2 good women left standing going into the final rose ceremony , it is undeniable that the season started rocky. I mean Shannon? Megan? Erika? Really...is there no other women willing to air their love life on national TV?

For those who are not familiar with the these contestants, Shannon was basically a stalker. She knew so much personal information about Jason and his entire family that it led one to believe she had been researching and stalking him every last minute up until showtime. Then there are Megan and Erika who were both loud and domineering. When either one of these women opened up their mouths to speak, I felt embarrassed for them. They sounded unintelegent and completely catty.
It is true...I watch, every season of The Bachelor. But why? Perhaps for the same reason I also slow down when I see accident on the freeway and try to pear into the destruction ...because I am just oh-so curious. In all reality- I should just drive right by and never turn my head, the sight is never a good one.

I didn't watch a single episode of this show, but I heard that there was a lot of drama in the final episode. Didn't one of the contestants end up on Dancing with the Stars?

Yes, the ending was so ridiculous. I'd like to say I'd never watch again- but I know I probably will, lol. He chose one- proposed then 6 weeks later changed his mind and went back for the other girl. The dumped-ex-fiance is now on Dancing with the Stars. Drama!

I just watched the last couple of episodes online (Thank goodness for Internet TV!), and definitely enjoy watching it. But with all dating reality shows, I find the whole process basically a legitimate way of "cheating" on a bunch of girls. Also, there's something about Jason's wide grin that gives me the creeps. No thank you!

Cory- You know I think when the show was first created, the producers had the idea that they were in fact going to sell the storybook romance. I mean they start every show with some cheesy narrative like "One single bachelor searching for true love." However, I think what really has caught on has been that drama filled "train wreck" story line. Gigi- Oh how I hope Jillian is the next Bachelorette too!! I love her!

This is the first season that I've ever watched it, and I'm pretty hooked. But I can't quite figure the show out. What's being sold here? Is there a storybook romance element? Because I'm watching it like a train wreck.

At the end of every season, I vow never to watch this show again because I can't stand the people by the time all is said and done....and every season, I watch. again. I hear rumors that he picks Melissa, changes his mind, dumps her and then gets back with Molly...I really thought Jason of all people would survive this process without looking like a tool, but something tells me that I'll end up despising him too. I hope Jillian is the next Bachelorette!
