I attended a convention that both Adam West and Burt Ward were signing at. Their signing area was walled off from the rest of the celebs and no photos were permitted but I believe that this was primarily due to West's requests. Ward seemed a lot more hospitable and actually happy to be there.

No, as he was in the "restricted zone" with Adam West. Ward did actually smile a lot and talk to people while he was walking around the convention floor.
