While flipping through the channels one late night, I came across Jimmy Fallon hosting a late night show. At first I thought he was just filling in for Conan O' Brien but come to find out it was his show! I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised not only because he was hosting a late night show but because he was able to snag The Roots as his house band!
His special guests for that night were Drew Barrymore, Chance Crawford (from Gossip Girl), and world renowned chef Molto Mario( you might've seen him on the food network show Iron Chef). The chemistry between Jimmy and his guests seemed natural and easygoing. There were no awkward pauses but he did tend to talk over his guests from time to time.
My favorite part of the show is his skit called 7th Floor which can be compared to MTV shows the Hills and the City except that its strictly workplace drama lol! Another part is "lick it for ten" where he has either one of his special guests or an audience member lick something for ten dollars which is hilarious because they have no clue what it might be!
So, if your tired off all the same ol late night shows or even if you aren't I suggest you check out Late Night with Jimmy Fallon because he brings a fresh face to late night tv....
I couldn't stand Jimmy Fallon on Saturday Night LIve. However, since he began his run in late night television, I've grown to really enjoy him. He's a fan of celebrities and interviews him just like a fan would. Also, his house band is The Roots. You gotta love that.
