Keith Richards gets a reprieve because he plays for The Rolling Stones and played Jack Sparrow's pop. He did create a handful of memorable guitar riffs with the Stones. Unfortunately, there isn't much about his musicianship for me to believe it's as extraordinary as people give him credit for. His riffs might be memorable, but they're also simple enough for a beginner to have no trouble playing them.
