This week is the last episode on The Office where Steve Carell plays Michael Scott. I'm a long time fan of The Office and have always been a fan of Steve Carell. I remember the first times I encountered Steve Carell was in the Jim Carey film, Bruce Almighty. Great film! That being said I think we can all agree that even though Steve Carell was in some box office hits such as Date Night and 40 Year Old Virgin, none of his movie can compare to the brilliance he played on The Office.
There are some many great episodes and one liners from Michael Scott. I mean he's the guy that made it okay to say "That's what she said!" in an office setting. I figured I'd add some of his best moments to this review.
My Thursday evening were never complete unless I got a few words of wisdom from Michael Scott. I think Dwight would agree!
How could we forget when Michael decided to leave Dunder Mifflin and start his own paper company? He was such and entrepreneur!
There are so many amazing Michael Scott moments so if you have some free time here's the link to the YouTube page. Have fun!
So whats next for The Office? I mean we've seen Will Ferrell play the new boss in the last 3 episodes, but will he stay? How can the Office continue on with it's glory without Michael Scott? Can it? I honest think that the producers of the show need to find someone of the Steve Carell caliber, i.e.: Will Ferrell, to take his place. I don't think the show can continue to do well without someone in that spot. As much as I love Dwight, I don't think moving him into the manager roll is the right decision. But, time will tell and hopefully the show will go on being great!
What's next for Steve Carell? I have no clue. Maybe more movies! Whatever he ends up doing, I and I'm sure I can speak for the majority of his fans want to thank him for being the awesome Michael Scott his was. For bringing a few minutes of hilarity to our lives every Thursday night and reminding us one thing...
