Entirely disagree. Will Ferrell is one of the unfunniest people working in the entertainment today. The only program I've enjoyed him in was STRANGER THAN FICTION and ELF, which I thought were works of genius and inspiration b/c he wasn't forcibly funny, he was genuine, and that worked in both cases.

I'm with you, Ed. I never found Will Ferrell all that funny, and I especially hated Anchorman.

Yeah, in the few Ferrell movies I've seen I have to agree with you. His style is more for TV than the big screen I think. I liked Stranger Than Fiction -- I did a review of that one last year I think. Have yet to see Elf in its entirety. His Land of the Lost was pretty bad.

When he's held in check, Will Ferrell can be hilarious. Unfortunately, a lot of directors feel the need to unleash him on a film, and his schtick gets old really quick.
