She had me at "My Life Would Suck Without You". How can you not absolutely lose yourself in pure pop/rock giddiness when Kelly's voice soars over a track like that?

The rest of the CD is just as good, with plenty of catchy hooks and the conflicting messages that Kelly, P!nk, etc have perfected in the last 5-6 years. There are even some great moments reminiscent of some of the great 80's/90's sounds of groups like Roxette (Already Gone), feel good buddy songs (If No One Will Listen) and even some 60's pop-funk (I Want You).

Kelly's voice is just one of those instruments that blends beautifully with a pop/rock music background, and the fact that she's back to having fun on this VERY pop album is awesome. I don't mind her "darker" stuff a la My December, but as someone who loved Breakaway, this album felt good from the very first listen and will continue to for some time to come!

This release from Kelly Clarkson is fun, sounds fresh and doesn't sound like a lot of what's on the radio today. What makes 'All I Ever Wanted' leaps and bounds better than 'My December' is simply the fun, light-heartedness of the release. There are some ballads but the production on each is consistent and very pop-orientated, and Clarkson's voice and the thoughtful attention to the lyrics all combine to make for a really addictive, memorable listening experience. If you were let down by 'My December', …
