Tears For Fears Reunites & Returns to Form

  • Jul 12, 2004
Rating:
+5
Tears For Fears has reunited and put together a superb pop album with Beatles styled melodies, clever lyrics, and lush pop production, much like what was heard on the duo's last pre-breakup album Seeds of Love. Stand out tracks include call me mellow, ladybird, closest thing to heaven, secret world, the title track, & killing with kindness. This album was delayed in the U.S. with its release by Arista scheduled for Sept. 2004. Orzabal & Smith sound at times like an updated Lennon & McCartney, and this album is really as good as any of their previous efforts, including Orzabal's solo material.
