You know, people give Eli Manning so much grief for what he can't do that we forget just what it is he CAN do. No, Eli is never going to be his big brother, and we should quit making the comparison - Peyton is in a class of his own. (Their pop, Archie, was the best quarterback the New Orleans Saints ever had for years until they grabbed Aaron Brooks and later, Drew Brees.) But Eli runs the New York Giants with the kind of cool, clear-headed efficiency Joe Montana and Tom Brady possess. He's solid and dependable and, while not quite as fundamentally talented as Montana or Brady, a proven clutch performer.
