A fun good time

I like the Killers because they're a fun indie rock group.  They're a non-mainstream band that you can listen to and it's fun, edgy, and makes you wanna get up and dance.  Or belt out the lyrics.  Either way, if you played them at a party or in your room with you dancing on your bed it's going to be a good time.

I enjoy their songs, but they are very mainstream. All over TV and radio and in movie trailers, but good for them! Money!

I think The Killers is of my favorite ... especially to hear at a bar... you can totally dance to it and sing along with it at the top of your lungs. Basically, it's great for any location, any place... one of my all times favs! :)

I'm ridiculous, funny, intelligent, motivated, and sometimes pretty dorky.    I try to live to the fullest as much as I can and enjoy life.    Indie music tends to rock my world.

About this band

Wiki

Formed: 2002 in Las Vegas, NV
Years Active: 90 's, 00's
Genre: ROCK

Few bands in the mid-2000s rose so quickly to the forefront of pop music as Las Vegas quartet the Killers. With a mix of '80s-styled synth pop and fashionista charm, the band's street-smart debut, Hot Fuss, became one of 2004's biggest releases, spawning four singles and catapulting the group -- particularly their dandyish, 22-year-old frontman, Brandon Flowers -- into the international spotlight. Hot Fuss reveled in the garish glitz of the band's native Las Vegas, spinning tales of androgynous girlfriends and illicit affairs to a public whose taste for revivalist dance-rock would prove to be virtually insatiable. Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, and the Bravery all benefited from such retro-minded interest, but the Killers unapologetically trumped them all -- even when their sophomore effort, Sam's Town, deemphasized the group's new wave sensibilities in favor of something more akin to the heartland rock of Bruce Springsteen and Rattle and Hum-era U2.

Brandon Flowers (vocals/keyboards), David Keuning (guitar), Mark Stoermer (bass), and Ronnie Vannucci (drums) first came together in 2002, two years before the stylish Hot Fuss introduced their band to the public. Flowers had been sacked by his former synth pop band, Blush Response, after refusing to move to Los Angeles alongside his bandmates. Instead, he remained in Las Vegas, where he soon met local guitarist and Oasis fanatic ...
